Message from Em
Hi, I’m Emily Norklun. My business is called Em’s Weaving. I weave on a Saori loom to create colorful purses, bags of all sizes, scarfs, wall-hangings, placemats , cat characters, and much more! I use natural and repurposed materials to weave one of a kind items. I like to try new ideas and can make personalized items.
You can find me at Ems Weaving on Facebook and Instagram. I also can be seen at local craft fairs and I’m also available for weaving demonstrations and workshops.

Saori is a Zen art of weaving from Japan dedicated to free expression and self-development. Unlike traditional styles of hand weaving, which value regularity and cleanness, Saori embraces irregular patterns and threads as part of its beauty.
